4th of July

With all the craziness of moving, we've been lacking in the "quality family time" department. This holiday came right at the perfect time, and really was just what our little family needed. Jed surprised me in the morning and decided not to work a half day, so we got to spend the entire day together! It was awesome :)

Here is PK before the parade. Every time I go to take his picture- he poses. This time he was standing on the other side of the room, and then he came right in front of me and sat down. Then said "Cheese!" He's hilarious :)

Here's our cute little fam waiting for the parade to begin.

There were some incredible floats!!

This one was submitted by the University of Utah and won some overall award. Go figure :)

He really loved it. This was taken when the motorcycles were out doing a show.

Of course, there were times he just couldn't see and had to sit on daddy's shoulders. LOVE.

I am so grateful for the country that we live in. I am proud to be an American, and this is something that we am starting to teach our little boy.

After the parade, PK slept for 3 hours, and I got busy cooking. We had an awesome BBQ at our place- with great family and friends. I was so happy with the turn out, and happy to get to see everyone before we head out. :(

Just some quick centerpieces I whipped out.

At the end of the day, we went over to the Provo Temple/MTC field and watched the Stadium of Fire fireworks. We didn't stay the whole time- mainly because we all fell asleep- but it was a perfect ending to a perfect day.

Hope you all had a great Independence Day :)

Happy Friday!
